Internal Teaching
Echocardiography is an increasingly important part of the training of all cardiology SpRs.
There are two NHS echocardiography trainee sonographers and we welcome Dr Sal Kabir as a BHF trainee.
The department also trains physicians from ITU and when possible provides placements for medical, nursing and pharmacology students.
Dr S Bruemmer-Smith has organised a teaching course covering the BSE and EAE examination syllabus and aimed at all Critical Care doctors, Cardiac Anaesthetists, Cardiology trainees and cardiac technicians.
